The LendInvest Self-Select platform is now closed to new investment opportunities.

Existing investments remain unchanged and will continue to be actively managed until they are repaid or reach maturity. Any repayments or income received will continue to be credited to your account and can be withdrawn through the platform.

You can still log in to access your account and withdraw available funds at any time.

Key benefits

1. Loan application reviewed

When a borrower applies for a loan, our experienced underwriting team reviews the application against our rigorous lending criteria and underwriting process.

2. Loan funded by LendInvest

Once approved, we fund the loan with our own money so the borrower can start their property project straight away.

3. Loan listed

We then list the investment (structured as an Investment Fund) along with the details of the underlying loan on our co-investment platform, allowing you to select those that match your investment goals.

We may select other funding sources for any loan, or list a portion of a loan on the platform at any other time. Investors cannot liquidate investments but borrowers may repay loans early, late or not at all.

4. Return for investors

Once you have invested in a loan, you will start earning interest immediately, with returns paid directly into your investment account every month.

You earn interest whether the borrower is required to service the loan interest monthly or at the end of the period, provided the loan is on schedule.

5. Loan repaid

When the proceeds of the loan are repaid we will return capital invested in that loan to your LendInvest account, ready for you to reinvest or withdraw.

Borrowers may repay early or beyond the loan’s initial expiration date. We take every steps to protect your money but, as with any investment, your capital is at risk.

Understanding risk

Alternative investments carry significant risks. Returns are dependent on the borrower’s performance under the loan.

Investors cannot liquidate investments but borrowers may repay loans early, late or not at all.

The value of your investment and the income from it may go down and you may lose all of your investment.
