Record numbers of brokers continue to find simpler bridging applications through the LendInvest portal. 

There were more new enquiries and signed applications in March than ever before, which contributed to a record quarter for the LendInvest team as brokers continue to see the benefit of technology-powered bridging deals. 

Taking all of those deals through to completion is the most important step though, and one our team has been excelling at through March. 

Here is a snapshot of the deals your borrowers have been getting.

Torquay 

LTV: 70%

Loan amount: £595,000

The borrower wanted to acquire a bungalow and capital raise for the further purchase of two more properties in Torquay. Using existing Buy-to-Let properties as security, the intention was to refinance within six months from the loan.

Manchester

LTV: 75%

Loan amount: £273,750

Borrower needed a fast turnaround on this deal to complete a new Buy-to-Let acquisition. Due to a fault of the previous broker they had exchanged contracts without a suitable mortgage offer so needed fast funds to secure the purchase and 10% deposit. Exit was a remortgage after completion and they had tenants already lined up.

LTV: 75%

Loan amount: £168,750

A bridge-to-let application to acquire a converted flat. Experienced landlord borrower wanted to do £63k of refurbishments, including raising the property’s EPC rating, before refinancing.
