LendInvest Mortgages strengthens UK presence with four new Field BDM hires

London, 16 July 2024 – LendInvest Mortgages, the UK’s leading platform for mortgages, announces the appointment of four new Field Business Development Managers (BDMs) – Lois Ashcroft, Ed Appleby, Rod McPherson, and James Hamblin – to enhance its origination efforts and support its ambitious growth strategy across the UK.

These strategic hires will significantly bolster LendInvest’s market presence nationally, leveraging their extensive experience and industry expertise.

• Lois Ashcroft – South West & South Wales: Lois joins the business from Pepper Money UK, where she served as the Regional Development Manager for the South West. She has over five years of experience in business development and mortgage advisory roles, previously working at Principality Building Society as a Mortgage Underwriter and Customer Consultant.
• Ed Appleby – ​​North East & Yorkshire: Ed comes to LendInvest from Penrith Building Society, where he held the position of Head of Products & Distribution. His career includes roles such as Head of Intermediary and Business Development Manager, bringing a proficiency in product development, distribution, and market growth strategies to the business.
• Rod McPherson – Scotland: Rod brings a wealth of experience from his role as a Regional Business Development Manager at Atom Bank, where he spent over seven years developing successful relationships with mortgage intermediaries. His prior experience includes positions at First Mortgage and Halifax, highlighting his deep industry knowledge and customer-centric approach.
• James Hamblin – South East: James has an extensive background in business development, most recently with KSEYE as a Business Development Manager. His career includes significant tenures at Step One Finance Limited, Enterprise Finance Ltd, and NatWest, where he managed large portfolios and developed key broker relationships.
