LendInvest in the Press: Atomico Invests £17 million and the FT Interviews Christian Faes

LendInvest and Atomico

Last week we released some big news – we received a £17 million investment from Atomico, a venture capital firm founded by Niklas Zennström, who also founded Skype back in 2006. It’s only been 9 months since we received a £22 million Series A investment from Chinese technology company Beijing Kunlun, so our company is growing at a rapid rate. News of our investment was picked up by several news outlets and blogs, including The Telegraph, CityAM, Business Insider, Tech Insider and Real Business.

We were also featured in the ‘your week in tech’ video roundup from Tech City News:

PropTech has come of age

RICS Modus Magazine - LendInvest's Ian Thomas

Finally our other co-founder Ian Thomas was featured in the latest digital edition of RICS Modus magazine. On pages 31-35, the magazine profiles the innovators at the forefront of the PropTech revolution, including Juliette Morgan from Cushman & Wakefield, Jonny Britton from Land Insight, Michael Marciano from Shared Property Data, Nick Kats from Splittable and Dominic Wilson from Pi Labs.

Ian says, “The key to what we do is transparency. If you have money on deposit at a bank, you have no idea what it’s being used for. Our investors know exactly where their money is going because they select the loan they want to invest in online and receive annual returns of 5%-8%.”
