LendInvest Expands Commercial Team to Enhance Broker Experience
11 June, Glasgow– LendInvest (LSE: LINV), a technology-backed specialist lender, has today announced a significant investment in its Customer and Broker Experience operations. As part of a strategic initiative to ensure its service proposition remains ahead of the game, the company has expanded its initial sales desk and officially launched dedicated Telephone Business Development Manager (TBDM) roles for its lending products.
Led by Customer Experience Manager Lauren Armstrong, this restructuring builds on LendInvest’s already existing strong reputation for quality and speed of service, aiming to provide brokers and customers with even faster and more comprehensive support across its lending product lines.
To provide proactive and targeted support for intermediary partners, the lender has introduced the Telephone BDM role to its Commercial division. Staffed by Josh Beattie and Callum McLaughlin, this newly established team will focus on strategic outbound engagement, lead management and dedicated account management. This hands-on approach ensures brokers receive rapid responses and tailored guidance to help them convert warm leads and grow their pipelines.
In an effort to bolster front-line support, LendInvest has also significantly expanded its sales desk with the appointment of five Business Development Associates (BDAs). This expanded team will bridge the gap between new business and existing customer retention.
These dedicated BDAs are fully equipped to support brokers with comprehensive enquiries across Buy-to-Let (BTL), Specialist Residential and Bridging finance. From managing initial sales emails and broker registrations to navigating the lender’s Mortgages Portal, the expanded BDA desk ensures a seamless, high-quality experience from the very first touchpoint.
All of these new positions will be based at the company’s Glasgow office. This operational expansion marks a key milestone in LendInvest’s ongoing mission to simplify property finance through a blend of innovative technology and expert, human-led customer service.
The enhanced team complements the existing 9 Field BDMs who support brokers across the country and will work closely with the specialist Bridging team, who will continue to provide expert guidance on our short-term lending propositions.
Lauren Armstrong, Customer Experience Manager, LendInvest, says: “Our brokers and customers are at the heart of everything we do at LendInvest.
“By introducing specialised Telephone BDMs and significantly expanding our BDA team, we are ensuring that our partners have immediate access to the expertise they need. Whether it’s a complex BTL enquiry or a residential product transfer, this investment guarantees that our service not only meets market demands but stays firmly ahead of the game.”
Daniel O’Connor, Chief Operating Officer, LendInvest, says: “Our investment in the Glasgow team reflects a clear commitment to our partners: even faster responses, greater accessibility and proactive support. By bolstering our front-line capabilities, we are ensuring that brokers never have to choose between digital speed and expert, hands-on guidance.
Combining this expertise with our advanced technology allows us to simplify property finance from the very first touchpoint, giving brokers the tailored support they need to win business in a competitive market.”
