LendInvest Capital Wins ‘Most Innovative Client Solution’ for Fund III at WealthBriefing Swiss Awards 2025

Meanwhile LendInvest’s Capital Raising Director Sam Woodward Recognised as ‘Wealth Management Rising Star Under 30’

For Immediate Release:

London: LendInvest Capital has been awarded ‘Most Innovative Client Solution’ at the WealthBriefing Swiss Awards 2025, recognising the successful launch of its LendInvest Secured Credit Fund III.

The firm’s expertise was further highlighted with Sam Woodward receiving the ‘Wealth Management Rising Star Under 30’ award for his role in developing the fund and expanding LendInvest Capital’s investor offering.

The annual WealthBriefing Swiss Awards program recognizes the most innovative and exceptional firms, teams and individuals. The awards have been designed to showcase outstanding organisations grouped by specialism and geography which the prestigious panel of independent judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year’.

Each of these categories is highly contested and is subject to a rigorous process before the ultimate winner is selected by the judges. It is this process that makes WealthBriefing awards so prized amongst winners.

A Fund Designed to Solve Industry Challenges

Traditional real estate funds have historically struggled with liquidity mismatches, forcing investors into compromised exits or locked-in structures. LendInvest Secured Credit Fund III is built differently:

  • Predictable liquidity – Redemptions are aligned with natural loan repayments, avoiding liquidity mismatches.
  • Short-term secured loans – Loans last 6-7 months on average, ensuring a steady cash flow into the fund.
  • Capital protection – Senior, secured loans with low LTVs (60-65%) and comprehensive security packages, including debentures and personal guarantees.
  • Quarterly distributions – Investors receive 8-10% net annual return, creating a stable, natural income stream.
  • Evergreen fund structure – Investors can remain in the fund for long-term yield or opt for a controlled, phased exit.

Unlike legacy funds, where liquidity imbalances have historically caused gating issues or forced sales at a discount, Fund III ensures that investors can exit on a pro-rata basis as loans are repaid. This model provides both liquidity and downside protection, without the risks associated with traditional closed-ended or open-ended real estate structures – and it’s this innovation and client-focused structure that helped LendInvest Capital secure the win.

Sam Woodward

Sam Woodward played a key role in the creation and expansion of Fund III, working with investors to develop a product that reflects both market needs and real estate investment best practice. His recognition as a Wealth Management Rising Star highlights his contribution to bridging the gap between traditional fixed-income investment and the evolving alternative credit landscape.

Commenting on the awards, LendInvest CEO Rod Lockhart, said: “Winning ‘Most Innovative Client Solution’ is testament to our commitment to building investment solutions that put investors first.

“The launch of Fund III reflects our deep experience in real estate lending, ensuring strong, stable returns in a well-structured and transparent fund for our global investor base.

Sam’s focus on our clients, and ensuring their investment needs are aligned with our product portfolio, has been instrumental to our recent success, and it’s fantastic to see his impact rewarded with this accolade – albeit, as I know he’d say, it’s been a team effort.”
