ESGgen partners with LendInvest to further its sustainable business goals
London, 3 March 2022 – ESGgen, the first of its kind ESG accounting platform, has partnered with LendInvest, the UK’s leading technology led asset manager for property finance, to help drive it’s ESG goals in a data driven way.
ESGgen uses proprietary technology to assure and audit a company’s ESG credentials and impact in line with International Auditing Standards. The startup has been founded by serial entrepreneur Daniel Jeczmien, and Marc Lepere who is a leading figure in ESG publishing in lead journals and lecturing at Wharton and King’s Business School.
This partnership is the latest proactive measure taken by LendInvest to measure and improve on the impact the business is making to the environment in which it operates.
In 2021, LendInvest launched a new product range that incentivises landlords to refurbish and increase the environmental efficiency of their properties. The EPiC range offers significantly reduced rates for environmentally friendly properties to support sustainable landlords and reduce the impact of the built environment.
Daniel Jeczmien, Founder and CEO at ESGgen, commented: “We are excited to partner with LendInvest to assure their ESG impacts across a range of key measures, and timing couldn’t be better. The Corporate Climate Responsibility Monitor 2022 just concluded that “top companies are exaggerating their progress”. Progressive companies like LendInvest understand that greenwashing doesn’t cut it. I hope to see more businesses follow their lead and take ESG seriously.”
Rod Lockhart, CEO at LendInvest, commented: “We’re pleased to announce this partnership with ESGgen as we seek to consistently review the impact our business is having, and explore the changes we can make to operate in a more sustainable way.”
