Our Client Services team- Joel, Sophie and Elizabeth- are here to answer all of your queries about the LendInvest platform. They’re responsible for talking to investors and making sure everyone is happy! We caught up with them for a quick chat to reveal a little bit more about the faces behind our company.
Hi guys! Welcome to the interview. First up, can you tell us briefly about your experience prior to joining LendInvest?
Joel: I spent 5 years in Client Services and Instructional Design at IBM in Australia. I moved to London for a change of scenery, applied for a job at LendInvest and was lucky enough to get it.
Elizabeth: I worked in Financial Services for a Buy-to-Let and investment company in the city before joining LendInvest.
Sophie: I graduated this summer from the University of Nottingham and have had previous experience working in logistics in Vienna.
Tell us a little bit about your job role, what do you do all day?
Joel: I make sure all our investors are happy.
Elizabeth: Speak with all our investors and help them understand the platform.
Sophie: Asides from teasing Elizabeth and Joel, I answer investor enquiries as well as making outbound calls to investors so that we have an excellent understanding of investors’ needs. We all work together to make sure everything is running smoothly!
What’s your favourite thing about working at LendInvest?
Joel: The social side, everyone is so friendly. No two days are ever the same.
Sophie: The vibrant personalities in the office – we are never short of a joke or two. The office culture means that everyone is really approachable, which is perfect for newbies like me with never ending questions!
Elizabeth: The office environment and friendliness of the colleagues.
Favourite place to take a lunch break?
Joel: Nothing better than sitting in the sun at Fitzroy square on a nice day.

Elizabeth: I’m alright, I like to use Joel as target practice.
Sophie: I thought I had a pretty good aim until there was a surprise attack from the other side of the office!

Elizabeth: Walk /Uber.
Sophie: All of the above!
Favourite emoji?

Elizabeth: sunshine = happy times.

What will the next big thing on the internet be?
