Last week five brave LendInvest-ers took part in the ultimate and original tower-running challenge Vertical Rush. The sponsored run, hosted by Shelter, involved running up a fearsome 932 steps of London’s original skyscraper, Tower 42, that looms 600ft above the City of London.

One of our aims here at LendInvest is to get Britain building to see more houses on the streets of the UK. This is why we saw a natural synergy in teaming up with Shelter who fight to prevent homelessness by offering free, expert advice to anyone – no matter their situation.

The team managed to raise an amazing £1,320, surpassing their original target of £1,000, with the fastest member reaching the top in just 6.49 minutes.

Well done team!
