LendInvest responds to signing of the FinTech Bridge between the UK and Australia

This morning the Chancellor launched the government’s FinTech Strategy at the second International FinTech Conference to a congregation of industry professionals and government officials.

The government has committed to “drive innovation forward” by introducing measures to unlock further investment for startups and encourage partnerships within the financial industry. One of these proposed measures is the signing of a FinTech Bridge between the UK and Australia, led by the Australian Treasurer Scott Morrison MP and Philip Hammond.

This ‘bridge’ aims to bring together regulators, policymakers and and private sector leaders to collaborate on both nations growing markets.
