The sales desk is often the first port of call for a lot of our brokers looking to sound out their deals and learn about what LendInvest can offer you.

The bridging team, Victoria, Mia and Lauren, have given a behind the scenes look at their work and how they make every deal simpler for you and your clients.

Learn more about their approach to working with you and how the operations team take your deals through to completion.

The sales desk

Victoria Barnard, BDM –

“We enjoy and work really well as a team with our underwriting counterparts to ensure our lending knowledge is always up to date and we can liaise with them seamlessly on trickier complex transactions to get great results for our end customers. I hugely look forward to seeing the company grow and, luckily for me, to be part of its success story.”

Lauren Bridgman, BDM –

A large part of my role is to establish and maintain good working relationships with brokers and clients, as a BDM you often become the ‘go to’ person when things aren’t going so smoothly and when potential issues arise, so you also spend a lot of time problem solving and coming up with new ideas to help make the deal work.”

Mia Colgan, BDM –

“I love working on the more complex deals and coming up with a solution in order to assist the broker/client with their loan. I also enjoy seeing repeat business on more ‘vanilla deals’ from brokers that I deal a lot with and watching them fly through to completion.”

Operations

Our bridging operations team works closely with our sales desk to ensure the speedy progression of your deals from application to completion. Our operations manager, Artesa Ormeni, explains how they are continually improving this process:

“I led a team of Case Managers to become Underwriter Associates, and this transition has vastly increased their overall knowledge and greatly benefited the development of the department.

“The work we deliver now is much more streamlined and efficient, meaning we can handle greater volumes of applications with the same amount of people. We also successfully implemented and transitioned to a new Operational system.”

Underwriting

What goes into underwriting your bridging deal? Senior Underwriter Warren Perks explained

“Bridging is all about speed and efficiency by definition as it is there to allow an asset to be acquired in a timely manner.

“To this end an Underwriter’s role is to navigate the deal through to completion albeit with a degree of calculated risk. This process will involve good communication along the journey with all stakeholders, asking the relevant questions and being open and honest along the way.”
